About Me

I was trained as a software engineer in system design. I left tech to work with human systems instead, because understanding how people change felt more meaningful to me than optimizing software.

I’m trained as a coach, and that work gave me tools for awareness, emotional and somatic integration. I work with the patterns we develop over time to function, adapt, and keep going, often without noticing how much they shape our choices.

Perimenopause is not only a physiological shift. It is also an identity shift. For many women, it marks a period of letting go of earlier versions of themselves and orienting toward what comes next.

My approach to perimenopause is grounded in modern science and physiology. I also stay curious about traditional ways of understanding the body.  Frameworks like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine are not belief systems I practice from, but lenses I explore. They offer ways of noticing patterns and relationships across the whole system, not just isolated metrics.

I pay close attention to women who have already moved through this stage, what surprised them, what strained them, and what they wish they had understood sooner. Many entered this season without language or context for what was happening. I don’t believe that needs to be the case.

Own Your Becoming grew out of a desire to challenge the narrow story we’ve been told about menopause, that it signals decline, loss of value, or disappearance.

You are not aging at the mercy of physiological change.
This is a season of becoming.

You can enter it with awareness, choice, and agency.
And you can decide who you are becoming as you move through it.
